1. Object
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is to define the terms and conditions under which Azur Canyoning offers the organisation and supervision of canyoning activities in the Alpes-Maritimes and surrounding regions. Any booking implies unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

3. Services offered and supervision
Azur Canyoning offers canyoning excursions supervised by State-qualified instructors (DEJEPS with a canyoning mention or equivalent). A detailed description of each route is available on the website.
Our supervisors are self-employed, state-certified professionals. They are registered with the Departmental Directorate for Social Cohesion (DDCS), hold a valid professional card, are up-to-date with their social security contributions, and are covered by their own Professional Civil Liability (RCP) insurance.
4. Participation requirements
As the activity takes place in a specific natural environment, participation requires:
- To know how to swim (immersion and 25 metres swim).
- Fitness levels appropriate for the chosen route.
- The absence of any medical contraindications.
- Strict adherence to the monitor's safety instructions.
For minors:
- The presence of a responsible adult or written parental consent is mandatory.
Azur Canyoning reserves the right to refuse a participant if their behaviour, personal equipment, or condition (physical or psychological) endangers the group's safety. No refund can be claimed in this situation.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in Euros and include all taxes (VAT).
These include:
- Supervision by a qualified professional.
- The loan of approved individual technical equipment (wetsuit, helmet, harness, lanyards, descender).
- Professional Indemnity Insurance for the instructor.
They do not understand
- Transport to the meeting point.
- The picnic and drinks.
- Trainers (sneakers) required for the activity.
6. Booking and Payment
Booking: It becomes effective after validation by Azur Canyoning and, according to the agreed terms, after online payment (Yo planning), payment of a deposit or receipt of confirmation by email.
Payment: Payment can be made by bank card (online), bank transfer, cheque or cash. The full amount for the service must be paid before the activity begins.
7. Cancellation and Modification
7.1. Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email or text message) as soon as possible.
- More than 72 hours before the activity: Full refund.
- Less than 72 hours before the activity or no-show: No refunds.
7.2. Special Cases (Force Majeure and Medical Certificate)
By way of exception to the above conditions, a full refund may be made on presentation of a medical certificate (certificate of unsuitability for the practice of the activity) or in case of force majeure duly justified, up to one day after delivery.
8.3. Partial withdrawal within a group
In the event of one or more people withdrawing from the relevant booking (for example, a group of 8 where only 6 attend), the deposits corresponding to the absent individuals will be automatically cashed. No refunds will be issued for cancellations for any reason whatsoever for these seats. However, the places are not personal: those who have booked can be replaced by other people from their circle, provided that these replacements meet the participation criteria (physical fitness, ability to swim, etc.).
7.3. Delay by the customer
A meeting place and time (GPS coordinates) will be communicated via WhatsApp or email. It is imperative to be punctual out of respect for the instructor and other participants.
The monitor commits to waiting 30 minutes maximum at the meeting point. Beyond these 30 minutes, the instructor will have no further contractual obligations. No refund can be claimed from Azur Canyoning if the instructor has left the meeting point to carry out the service.
7.4. Cancellation or amendment by Azur Canyoning
The monitor may decide to cancel or amend the output for reasons of security (strikes, adverse weather, prefectural alerts) or in cases of force majeure.
In this case, Azur Canyoning offers:
- A report of the activity at a later date.
- A change of route (contingency plan).
- Full refund of sums paid (without additional compensation).
8. Safety and Responsibility
The referee is the sole decision-maker on the pitch regarding the continuation or stoppage of play.
Azur Canyoning accepts no responsibility for:
- Loss, theft or damage to personal items (glasses, cameras, jewellery) during the activity.
- Damage resulting from failure to comply with safety instructions.
9. Right to one's image
Unless written notice to the contrary is given before the activity, the client authorises Azur Canyoning to use photos and videos taken during the excursion for its communications (website, social media).
10. Mediation and Disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable settlement is preferred. Failing that, the customer may refer the matter to the consumer mediator:
